Stacey Steinmiller, Psychotherapist turned Coach

I firmly believe that humans are not crazy, that we do things for a reason, even if it doesn’t make sense on the outside.
YOU ARE NOT BROKEN
You are trying to fit into a fucking BOX and your unique gifts DO NOT belong there!!!
You have probably figured out by now that these emotional band-aids – these coping skills – aren’t working for you, and you need something else, to truly transcend this problem of yours, but don’t know how to go about doing it and have likely tried working on this on your own, but it keeps coming up or shit has just gotten out of hand. If so, you’ve found the right person, because for me it isn’t about patchwork, it’s about building a foundation that will last you the rest of your life.

“I simply stand on the ground of my own creation.”
– Stacey Steinmiller, thought leader

I decided to move on from my 12 years of practicing as a psychotherapist because I desired more than what healing could provide. I wanted transcendence. There were places in me that I wanted to touch more deeply.
ALL of my doubt.
ALL of my worry.
ALL of my anger.
And really dive into moving beyond some of the most basic shit we accept as part of our human experience.
I wanted to truly know what I was capable of mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I needed to test these waters because I KNEW there was more to life that I hadn’t yet TASTED.
You aren’t normal… and you don’t want to be… stop trying to be… and experience the taste of life you are craving.
As a therapist I couldn’t be in my FULL expression. I was limited and had to minimize the power of my creative genius.
I have walked a journey to completely dissolve my victim energy.
To fully step into my power and creative life force.
To experience FULL presence of EACH FUCKING MOMENT that life has to give. And see it as an EXPERIENCE of life instead of an accumulation of accomplishments and possessions and titles, and all those damn ego attachments.
My Educational History:
- I received my Bachelors of Arts at Nazareth College with a major in psychology and minors in business and music. I then went to Roberts Wesleyan College where I completed my Master’s in Social Work (MSW). I then worked at Unity Behavioral Health for 5 years in an outpatient therapy setting and have also worked at Healthy Mom’s conducting intakes and also as a therapist at Roberts Wesleyan College Counseling Center.
- I went on to obtaining credentialing up to an LCSW-R until I moved my business to life coaching.
Now What?
ARE YOU READY to shed you attachments?
